As I was moving posts over from the old blog, I realized that with all of the back to school craziness I didn’t get around to posting any Christmas Eve fun! Out Christmas Eve is one of my favorite traditions. It’s just us, Jojo and GWR, Jojo’s parents and GAR and we have dinner, do that last night of Advent and open presents from my grandparents.
No celebration in this house is complete without scrumptious appetizers and crisp champagne!
Jojo always sets a beautiful table and serves a beautiful dinner… and there are *always* crackers!
I dropped and shattered my turkey platter this Thanksgiving (that was right before I got kicked out of the kitchen…) and “Santa” brought me a new one for Christmas!
In accordance with our eclectic mix of tradition, Jojo stuffs our stockings with Texas Lotto tickets… when we were littles it was the sheer thrill of having your very own lottery ticket to scratch. Now the game is the suspense and excitement of winning a dollar or two…
… or $500. Merry Christmas, GAR!
