OhLaLa – Boudoir Photography by ARG

boudoir may not be for everyone – but they are anything but scary. you will be guided through the whole process from start to finish. from what to wear and putting together an inspiration board to the actual shoot day with hair and makeup (if you choose) and posing. there will never be an awkward moment where you are alone in this process.

where do we shoot?

in your home or on location. san antonio (and the surrounding area) has some amazing hotels and venues perfect for your boudoir shoot. had a memorable night in austin? let’s head north! want to give your man a preview of a planned romantic night (like your wedding night or a surprise birthday weekend?).. we’ll go to that hotel! please note, outside of boudoir marathon days, the cost of location is not included in your session fee and is your responsibility.

i strive bring out the real you in your portrait session – whether she’s silly, sexy, or sultry.

although i love love love pretty lingerie, sexy stockings and sky high heels, they are not required for amazing images.  my favorite images evoke a feeling of you-ness. your significant other will recognize the you they know – but in the best, sexiest, most flattering way we can show them!

what do i need to bring and do?

first, email me to book your session! ohlala boudoir sessions are available monday thru friday in the morning or early evening.

on the day of your session arrive with your hair and makeup ready to go – unless you are having them done on location, then you should arrive with a clean, moisturized face and product free hair.

bring with you a few “outifts” that make you feel amazing. you may also choose to bring a favorite team jersey or shirt, a work shirt or tie, or some other sentimental or meaningful item of his or yours. please remove all tags and stickers from your clothing items. i have a few basic props, but since boudoir is so personal we can talk about what you’d like to bring to make your session uniquely yours.

where do my images go?

you may choose to give me full, partial or no release of your images. i will never, ever print, publish or share any of your images you don’t want shared regardless of what release you give me (ie – even if you give me full release but there are one or two images that you just don’t want “out there” – they stay private!).

all proofing is done in a secure, password protected gallery.

so, how long does it take to get my images?

images will be posted in your secure, online gallery about 2 weeks after your session. if you choose, in person viewing is also available.

your little black book and prints take about 2 weeks to design, print and ship. to be safe, please allow at least 4 weeks turn around if you need your images by a certain date. rush processing is available for an additional fee.

all ohlala images are for your eyes only! arg photographs will never sell your images for commercial use and will only use them in the manner you have specified!

i do not shoot couples and i do not shoot nude photographs. however, we will shoot nearly nude and nude-looking images if you are so inclined.

why aren’t there more pictures on the website? because many of the women who choose to indulge in boudoir sessions are women about town – doctors, lawyers, teachers, wives of public figures – who choose to keep their sessions private. i appreciate the bold and brave women who allow me to use their photos on the site. need a better feel for my style? check out this inspiration board.
