The last two years I was lucky enough to work with a group of teachers that loved “doing” for each other. We always had a blast with Secret Santa, Valentine’s Day “Secret Cupid”, Thanksgiving goodies and on and on. It was such fun to find a little sussy in your mailbox when you got to school, at lunch or during conference. One of my *favorites* was “Boo-ing”. Two or three teacher’s “Booed” a person each, who “booed” someone else and on and on. (Dare me to use “on and on” a third time?) Hospitality Committee would create a cute little graphic to put on your box after you’d been booed to make sure everyone got a chance at being booed.
While blog browsing today, I saw the same idea implemented for a neighborhood! The TomKat Studio posted this free download over on Eighteen25. I think it would be so much fun to implement in my neighborhood. I think I might get my sweet neighbor kiddos to do the delivering – I’ll happily do the baking! Would something like this work in your neighborhood?
