We *DO* birthdays around here. We can thank Jojo for that.
I remember always waking up on my birthday to a special breakfast (usually chocolate glazed donuts for me), decorations or balloons, a special outfit, and if it was a school day Jojo or Douxie always came to have lunch with us. We always felt special and loved on our birthdays (yes, we were made to feel special and loved every day, but even more so on our birthdays!).
FMG is turning 30 this year and as much as I would have loved to take him on a huge blow-out Birthday trip, we’re celebrating at home… and I’m getting ready! I have a feeling it will end up being a hodgepodge of his favorite things and not a coordinated effort. But if having all of your favorite things isn’t the very essence of a birthday, I don’t know what is!
This is the “H” from the houndstooth birthday banner I plan to print out and string for the big day. I’ll probably keep it simple and use twine and card stock. I’ll even spare him the glitter since it’s HIS day and not MINE. Download and save it – it’s a good “man” banner to have on hand! Each double point flag is about 4 inches across the top and there are three blanks to use as spacers or to write the year on (30, 50, 21, etc). Enjoy!
The font is “Sketch Serif” and I got it from dafont.com. Please do not try to sell this banner. It’s great but it’s not THAT fabulous.
