A while back my buddy Misha invited me to join her for an afternoon of crafting. On what planet would I say no to that? The group decided to do two projects – Fall-ish Felt Flower Wreaths and an experiment with the new Martha Stewart Glass/Ceramic paint and white mugs.
After a quick lesson in felt flower rolling and some planning, we were off!
We used straw wreath forms with the plastic intact – some of the wreaths were yarn wrapped and some were burlap wrapped prior to being embellished.
Isn’t the argyle pattern SO cute!? I think it would be darling in a Christmas or Valentine’s color scheme, too!
We also created these precious mugs with the new MS collection of glass paints. It was obviously all consuming because I only have an “after” picture!
Not only was it fun to hang out with some new people, but it was so great to get together and knock out two projects in one afternoon. I definitely think I’ll be planning more crafternoons!
Thanks, Meesh for letting me use your pictures! xoxo
